TFI Local Link is the National brand under which 15 TFI Local Link companies provide rural transport in Ireland.  Each TFI Local Link is funded through the National Transport Authority with funding from the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport and the Department of Social Protection.

TFI Local Link Wexford provides secure, reliable and affordable transport for rural communities across the county of Wexford. We have two types of services: Our Regular Rural Services operate five, six and seven days per week. Our Demand Responsive Transport services operate in areas that are more rural generally running once or twice per week and passengers are requested to book in advance of travelling. Our Regular Rural services operate five, six and seven days per week and do not require booking as they operate to a fixed timetable – these are on our Timetables page.   Our Demand Responsive Transport services that operate in areas that are more rural require pre booking. Yes, the Free Travel Pass is accepted on all of our services. Call us on 053 901 1828 for any additional information.

Cash is accepted by the driver. Please have correct fare or closest to. Drivers will not accept big notes of €20 or €50.

On our Regular Rural Services you also have cashless options using a Leap Card or TFI Go App.

Yes, we have a fare structure for Adult / Child and Student. Under 5 years travel FREE and we usually run a promotion in the month of July for Kids Go Free – Please go to our Fares page or call us on 053 901 1828.

We advise pre booking for our Demand Responsive Transport services to guarantee a seat or for a home pick up. If you would like to travel regularly on one of our rural routes you can simply register with us by phone and we will reserve a seat for you each week of the service. We kindly ask that you inform us if you are NOT travelling so we can offer the seat to someone else. Call us on 053 901 1828.

We offer a pre booked door pick up where possible on our demand responsive transport services. Call us on 053 901 1828 with your EIR code and we will assess if we can divert our route for a door pick up.

We accept the carriage of folding bicycles free of charge subject to accommodation being available. Luggage space may vary by vehicle type and the carriage of bicycles may not always therefore be guaranteed.
The carriage of non-folding bicycles is not permitted on low-floor vehicles operating in urban and some rural areas. On coach vehicles, the carriage of non-folding bicycles is limited and subject to space being available.
On low-floor vehicles, if a bicycle is folded and capable of being stored in the designated luggage area, it will be carried subject to space being available. Otherwise, it will not be permitted to be carried. Folded bicycles must not be placed where they could obstruct the gangway or any passenger entrance or emergency exit.
From October 2024 the carriage of e-Scooters will not be permitted on any public transport for safety reasons and to help prevent the risk of combustion on board buses and trains. This includes those that can be folded or carried. For more information on the guidelines visit www.transportforireland.ie

Guide dogs and Assistance dogs accompanying passengers are permitted to travel on all Local Link services free of charge and without restriction. An Assistance dog must be clearly identifiable either by coat or harness to distinguish it as a working dog and not a pet. Apart from the foregoing exceptions, dogs, cats or any other animals or live fowl of any description WILL NOT be carried.
